B&D Doors comprises of two market-leading garage door brands, Garador and Dominator. Each brand has a distribution network of 30 dealers located throughout New Zealand. Cavalry has worked with B&D's in-house marekting team to provide clear differentiation for each brand and allow them to more effectively co-exist and compete in the same market. With the exact same product to sell, often in the same town, it was crucial that each brand was able to establish a unique value proposition.
Cavalry helped to bring the Dominator brand to life in its product literature by reinforcing how easy the Dominator team makes it to protect your home and assets. The Garador brand has been brought to life through a series of homeowner vignettes, which reinforce the message that in terms of usage and contents, no two Kiwi garages are the same. With a Garador garage door, you can keep ‘it’ safe, regardless of what ‘it’ is.
With two existing websites looking and sounding almost identical, B&D Doors needed to build a new website for each brand - complete with new imagery to reflect the value proposition of each business. More importantly each site needed to be copywritten from scratch to remove duplicate content issues on the existing websites. With new websites live and a new suite of sales literature for each brand printed, B&D Doors has started to get the word out there through various advertising and promotional activity. Cavalry has helped with billboards for Garador and print ads for Dominator supporting key group housing customers.
