The Loop Duty Free New Zealand, part of Aer Rianta International Group, is one of the new duty free shopping providers at Auckland International Airport, having taken over from DFS in June 2015. With a narrow 48-hour window – in which to take down the DFS livery, set-up its own branding / POS materials and product, and then launch – The Loop needed a partner it could rely on to get the job done on time and on budget. Cavalry worked closely with The Loop and its shop fit-out partner in the weeks leading up to the launch and in the days following, offering a full suite of design and promotional support initiatives.
Subsequent to its successful launch, Cavalry is now providing a number of services on an ongoing basis to The Loop Duty Free New Zealand. Working closely with their marketing manager, we manage the design of all promotional campaigns with a full suite of POS materials and store livery where required. We also help with the development and design of new in-store marketing initiatives that add to the shopping experience at The Loop Duty Free.
We always like to offer our clients something a bit different and special, and it doesn’t get much better than our Christmas activation idea. With 200 large gift boxes, a plane load of unsuspecting passengers from Brisbane and a carousel full of surprises, we certainly raised a few smiles with The Loop Duty Free ‘Joy of Giving’ campaign.
Cavalry Marketing & Design is responsible for the development and delivery of The Loop's digital marketing programme which consists of lots of different elements including: Banner ads for the Google Display Network (GDN), Google Adwords & Remarketing, YouTube pre-roll ads, on-campus digital animation and motion graphics, in-store activations and POS creative. With a full programme of exciting campaigns coming up - there's no shortage of things to bring to life with animation.
